Fleet Personnel

COSCO Wallem Fleet Personnel Department manages crew onboard for all our vessels mainly Bulk Carriers. And we had the experience of manning General Cargo, Ro-Ro, Container, Chemical Tanker and Research Vessel. Now, we still possess specialist in house for manning and maneuvering those types of vessels. Currently, there are 550 crew at sea with other 220 on standby for vessels in our fleet.

We have a rigorous recruitment and selection policy conforming to international standards and ensuring our clients to obtain the best possible fleet personnel for their ships. All crew are fully briefed and trained according to each owner's requirement.

With a strong international dimension to our business, we have experience of managing crew from Philippines, Russia and India as well as our own in China. We manage our owners' crew pools very closely and regularly co-ordinate with manning agents all over China to maintain quality and quantity according to market needs.

All travel, visa, ITF, uniform and administrative functions are carried out by our professional team of Crew Superintendents ensuring quality and service at all times.
